Alvor suffered an earthquake in 1755 that almost destroyed this beloved fishing village. Nowadays it's an important tourist center and was recently elected the most beautiful village in the Algarve.
Alvor sofreu um terramoto em 1755 que quase destruiu esta adorada vila piscatória. Hoje em dia este é um importante centro turístico e foi recentemente eleita a vila mais bonita do Algarve.
