Thing to do in Alvor / Coisas para fazer em Alvor

Normally tourists visit the Algarve in the summer.

In the months less required by the visitors the weather continues pleasant, the temperature between goes around 11ºC and 15ºC

1 - It can take good and long walks, on the beach or in the countryside. There are always boardwalks and beautiful landscapes to enjoy. We have routes for those who like hiking: Via Algarviana, Great Route of the Guadiana and Rota Vicentina.

2 - Visit the Ria de Alvor or the Ria Formosa, full of different species of birds, not only, you can take a binoculars and spend a very pleasant day

3 - The golf courses in the Algarve are the ex-libris of this region, world-known can have landscapes of the sea, mountains or lakes.

4 - Learning to surf, waves are much better at this time, Sagres, Vila do Bispo and Portimão are great places to learn this sport.

5 - Eat the traditional foods and regional desserts. The almond and the fig are important products in the sweets of the Algarve

6 – Try to practise kitesurf or windsurf, our estuary, during a windy day, is a perfect spot for these water sports .

7 - Lagos, Lagoa and Portimão are beautiful producers of Algarvian wines, how about you try that? Do not forget also the firewater and the honey firewater in the Serra de Monchique.

8 - To visit Museums, in the Algarve we have spectacular museums, like the Portimão museum  that is located in an old fish canning factory  and has a tour dedicated to this theme.

9 - Karting at the Algarve Aerodrome, a fun experience for family or friends.

10 - Skydiving, a unique experience for the adventurous, very near there is an aerodrome in Portimão that can realize this "madness".

11 - Relax a bit and stay at Ria Hostel located in Alvor, very close to everything and with very helpful staff.

5 – Comer as tradicionais comidas e doçaria regional. A amêndoa e o figo são produtos importantes  nos doces algarvios

6 – Praticar kitesurf ou windsurf, nosso estuário, durante um dia ventoso, é um local perfeito para esses desportos aquáticos.

 7 -Lagos, Lagoa e Portimão são belos produtores de vinhos algarvios, que tal provar? Não se esqueçam também do medronho e da melosa na Serra de Monchique.

8 – Visitar Museus, no Algarve temos museus espectaculares, como o museu de Portimão que se situa numa antiga fábrica de conservas de peixe e tem um percurso dedicado a esse tema.

9 – Andar de Kart no Autódromo do Algarve, uma experiência bem divertida para a família ou amigos.

10 – Saltar de Paraquedas, uma experiencia única para os mais aventurosos bem pertinho existe um aeródromo em Portimão que poderá realizar essa “loucura”.

11 – Relaxar um pouco e ficar alojado no Ria Hostel situado em Alvor, bem pertinho de tudo !
